Biography
Greta Feeney (Rachel Lockhart)
Brad Alexander (Lab Assistant)
You couldn't call Beeson's score witty or exciting, and the central waltz section is clichd, but the music does have some charm and the cast made the most of the material. Hugh Russell's Col. Killegrew and Greta Feeney's Rachel were perfectly matched in their self-absorption. Feeney has a bright, piercing soprano and Russell's smooth legato phrasing was a pleasure to listen to. Brian Anderson, a recent graduate from the Opera Center, was exceptional as the shy, introverted Reuben Waterford. Rohrer and Robinson rounded out the fine cast. (Review in Adler Fellow Showcase)
The Chocolate Soldier/The soloists are never less than good: Suzanne Woods, Daniel Neer, Greta Feeney, John Pickle, Elizabeth Peterson, and others/ Samples
oprano GRETA FEENEY, a second-year Adler Fellow, made her San Francisco Opera debut lJano in Jen?fa and Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly and as the Sandman and the Dew Fairy in Hansel and Gretel.
