Cheryl received her B.A. and M.A. degrees from Michigan State University and has continued to take coursework at UVA, EMU, JMU and BRCC. She has worked as a teacher and an educational diagnostician in Rockingham County, and VSDB in Staunton. Cheryl has studied dance, yoga, Feldenkrais, Polarity, taiji and qigong. She has taught dance and movement privately and at That Dance Place, and was a guest artist in taiji for the summer enrichment program at BRCC and for the Girl Scouts. She has preformed with several local dance companies throughout the Shenandoah Valley. Cheryl has also studied paino, flute and voice. She has been a children's choir director for several churches. She has also done puppet making, creative writing workshops, and clowning.
