| Tuesday, September 11 2001 is a day that will never be forgotten. America was attacked. Lives, businesses, and buildings were lost. For a few days America was put on hold, trying to figure out what to do next. But through all of this, there was one thing that was not destroyed or put on hold. And that is God�s love. Nothing can EVER take that away from us-not death, not destruction, not fear. (Romans 8:35-39) Through all of our pain God is still there, watching over us and helping us. The writer of Psalm 56 knew this when he said, �When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust, I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me? � (Psalm 56:3-4) Man may attack us from all sides, doing everything they can to destroy us. But God�s love is bigger than that, and He will protect us. His love is unfailing, never ending, and better than life. In the wake of this crisis, turn to God. He understands all of your pain, anger, and confusion. He�s there to support you and give you strength to get through whatever may come next. Some verses describing God�s love. |
