| Today I saved two people, the first that I have saved. I was with my MIG, then I went to play a little soccer and these two guys followed me. I went back to my MIG and again they followed me. So I went over and talked to them. We talked and Joseph came over and helped me. They had read their Bibles and prayed but didnt have a personal relationship with God. So we prayed and they got saved. Steve My Kodak moment involves being on the soccer field. I met a young boy named Miguel. I judged him to be about ten years old. He seemed so interested in what we had to say and he listened intently. After we did the drama he gave his life to Jesus. He seemed very pleased with his decision and joyfully asked if I would like to play. I pulled out my hacky sak. It wasn;t long before Miguel and his friends were very proficient with a hacky sak. We soent the rest of the day at a church praising God and praying for people. Miguel was with me most of the day. At the end of the day I decided to give him my hacky sak. He didnt understand at first and kept bringing it back. Finally I found a translator to tell him that it was a gift. He seemed shocked. He owned hardly anything and here I was giving him an amazing toy that he had never seen. Miguel gave me a hug when I left. He reminded me that if we have the love of God in our hearts there is no such thing as a language barrier. God can use our eyes and our actions to transport his message just as well as he can use our words. Kevin While we were at our last drama sight we were at the university. My MIG had sound box duty. As we set up the sound box there was a woman standing off to the side looking on with interest. So when I finished I started a conversation with her and she started to ask questions as I explained having a personal relationship with Christ. And after asking many questions she decided to come to Christ. It was so awesome because she had to go to class and she hadnt seen the drama yet and she wanted to give her life to Christ. Awesome. Michelle On our first day of ministry, two dramas that we did were at the Universtiy. I gave the net at both sites. At the first drama, while giving the net, I saw and sensed a real fear of man there and it broke my heart. When I gave the altar call, few came forward. So I boldly saidJesus said, If you deny me before men, I will deny you before my father in heaven. More people slowly came forward. I didnt realize the impact of those words until after we led the people that came forward in the prayer of salvation. One lady named Leslie came forward, she spoke some English. I talked with her for a long time encouraging her in her decision to serve Jesus. She told me that she had a real fear of what people though but when I said those words about Jesus denying her if she denied him before men really hit her hard. Leslie had many wiestions and I had the opportunity to really minister and pour into her life. This was definitely one of my Kodak moments! I will never forget it. Angela |
