| Monday July 2 Yesterday we went to a Peruvian church. It was amazing. The service was so exhilarating. Everyone was dancing and singing and smiling. They sang in Spanish and we tried to sing along. The pastor gave the sermon in English just for us! Afterwards we did two dramas and they didn't go too well. But at night we did a crusade and that was awesome! It was outside in a little village. There were some benches set up and people singing praise and worship. One group did the drama and then the net was cast. Many people were healed, and many dedicated their lives to Christ. There were two women who really touched my heart. They came up to us to ask for prayer because they were new Christians and they needed strangth. They also wanted their families to know the love of God. We prayed for them and they began to cry. It was so nice to see that they were really sincere and really full of love for Jesus and their families. They understood what we so desperatly wanted everyone to know-there IS a God and he loves them soooooo much, enough to send His only son to die for them! I just want to look people in the eye and tell them that. These women understood and I know they will tell other people. |
