Directions

Each direction (North, South, East, West) has an element associated to it. I've been born and raised in the Native American ways, so this next part is me mixing wicca with native beliefs. And also each direction holds a purpose and animal spirit. The following will be a run down of each direction seperately, and it's function.

     North:
North is the direction of great and ancient beings and ancestors. It represents wisdom. It's element is Earth. The native animal associated with it is the Eagle. The symbolic color is white.

     East:
This is the direction of illumination and knowledge. It's element is air. The symbolic color is yellow.

     South:
This is the direction of healing. Physically, spiritually, and emotionally. It's element is fire. The native animal is the crow. The symbolic color is black.

     West:
I am able to tell you more about West since by nature I've been attuned to the West and it's associations all my life. West is the direction of the spirit world, the dreamscape, and the thunder beings. It's element is water. And it's animal is the bear. People attuned to the west are often dreamers. Creative thinkers. Introverts. The bear is a strong spiritual animal, and always a great help in times of spiritual troubles.

I know this was short but I hope it's usefull.
