Magical Abuse
It's easy to abuse magic and not realize it, it's also very tempting to some. There's two distinct sections of magic, in both are sub-sections. But I'm only going to discuss the basic two: Light Magic, and Dark Magic. Dark Magic carrys an appeal to most people because it represents power over others, control, and destruction. Problem is, most people don't know the reprecautions of using Dark Magic. Dark Magic carrys another appeal of being easier to perform. The reason why it's so much easier is because it wants you to use it and trap you in it's spiral. Light Magic on the other hand is much harder to perform. Its something you have to work at and work at.
So let's define the two. Light Magic is any form of magic that is non-destructive, does not effect someone without their permission or willingness, and has no negative effect. Light Magic is never a magical abuse if used in those perspectives. Now, Dark Magic. Dark Magic involves anything destructive, negative, and infringement upon someone else. Dark magic is a magical abuse, one that if you perform you'll suffer the reprecautions for.
I'm sorry if I offend anyone who practices Dark Magic but I am strongly against it. Reason being is because I had someone who practiced stalk me and performed some sways on me that effected me badly while I was still young to the metaphysical scene. For this reason, I will not trust another "Dark Wiccan" nor anyone else who practices the Dark Arts. But enough of my rant. Let me get on with my warnings.
There is what is called a Three Fold Theory. Don't think of this as a simple cause and effect thing. Think of this as a sentinent being that always knows what you did, and will dispense judgement on you, good or bad. It may wait an hour before it does, it may wait a decade, but it will always come. Nothing will deter it. And I feel I should mention one other thing about it. I had a friend who knew someone who was going to suffer a strong backlash from the three fold because of what they did. My friend thought he could change it so the backlash would hit him instead. Because he interferred with someone else's backlash, he got it and so did the guy who it was originally meant for. With that being said, when attract the three fold, make sure you attracted it for the good, otherwise the bad will be twice as harsh.
