Golem was sitting in a forest somewhere in Ancient Japan eating a deer. He had tried eating other animals, but none of them went down that well. Deer was perfect.
However, his lunch was interrupted as his sixth sense picked up a figure approaching rapidly from his left. Throwing the animal to the side, he quickly summoned his battle axe. It did him little good as the living bullet easily snapped the weapon in half with a flying kick. The offending limb did not stop with the axe and slammed Golem in the gut, sending him crashing through two trees.
Picking himself off the ground, Golem was greeted with the sight of a decade-old memory. "Satoshi," he grinned. "It's been a while."
Satoshi matched the demon's smile. "Aye, it has. I'm sorry for the interruption last time. Care to resume our fight?"
Golem summoned a black aura around his body. "Some people just don't know when to give up. Oh, well. I guess it can't be helped." Golem's smile diminished slightly as Satoshi produced a frightening green aura. "I see you've been training." Without warning, he unleashed a black ball of crushing energy at his opponent. As soon as it had left his hand, he vanished from sight.
Satoshi wasn't even pushed backwards as he stopped the blast with one hand. Then, smiling, he lashed out with a reverse kick, catching the invisible demon behind him in the face. The battle was on.
Almost an hour later, Satoshi stood smiling over a broken and bleeding Golem. The demon spit blood as he snarled. "Go on."
"No. We shall continue this later. I still have much to learn about martial arts and fighting you is the only way I know how to learn. You will die when you have nothing left to teach me." With that, wings sprouted from his uncovered back and he flew off into the distance.
Golem, for the first and last time in his life, shed a cold tear and then fell into unconsciousness.
