In a world of clubs and gambling,
Try to make some easy cash,
But the things are so addictive,
Through the slot, into the trash.

And I guess that's why I don't like the Poker Machines.

A machine controls your instincts,
And you can't be torn away.
Just have to play the pokies,
Another dollar, another day.

And I guess that's why I don't like the Poker Machines.
And I guess that's why I don't like the Poker Machines.

They destroy lives, what more can I say?
Most people find out the hard way.
The club they take ya' money and call it revenue.
To me that sounds like a crime, how 'bout you?

Well the clubs should have a duty.
We're people not a test,
And a games room full of cardies,
Is the way to get depressed.

And I guess that's why I don't like the Poker Machines.
And I guess that's why I don't like the Poker Machines.
And I guess that's why I don't like the Poker Machines.
And I guess that's why I don't like the Poker Machines.
