Disparity in the sexes
Einstein, Edison, Darwin, Socrates, Galilleo, think of a great person. Most likely it is a male. Now think of a a world leader. Most likely it is a male. Now think of a murderer, or a serial killer, or an extremist. Again it is most likely a male. Why?

Males do not reproduce. Nature has a great deal of leeway with males. Males are likely to be the best in society, and the worst in society. For every Jack the Ripper there is a Gandhi. And for every Einstein there is an Osama bin Laden. Females on the other hand are more stable. Having the obligation of reproduction makes stability a more important aspect of survival for the species.. Only females who were stable enough to care for a child passed on their genes. Males on the other hand are expendable.

Take a society of 200 people, 100 males, and 100 females. 50 males are not intelligent enough to adapt and survive in the climate and they die. All of the females are intelligent enough to adapt and survive in the climate. You end up with a society composed of 50 males and 100 females. 50 males and 100 females can produce 100 pregnant females, and thus pass on their genetic makeup. Now consider the opposite. 100 males survive and 50 females survive. The highest amount of pregnancies would be 50, and the tribe would weaken.

In a sense males are natures guinea pigs with greater phenotic diversity. This explains why the majority of people whom the world would consider "great" are male, and it would also explain why the majority of the people the world would consider "evil," "feeble," and "extreme" in any aspect, are also male.
