| 4th demension love 2001 you kept me like a key you found. what it was for, you didn't know, though i hung at your hip on a chain that made you look wanted and secure. humor was your hat as the bill shaded your face and seriousness was too bright for your eyes. your nothings were better than somethings to you, but your golden silence rusted into secrets and lies. your many moods morphed back and forth like seasons though fall was a fault of mine. because your heavy kisses weighed me to the ground unable to walk the line of reality as i fell too hard on scabby knees praying for a romantic moment that only came as often as a tear from your eye. life with you did not exist for the present was never home. my hopes and i rested in our future. a demension you never cared to know. |
