A real Dutch gardengnome: a red hat, a white shirt, blue pants and his fist in the air!
Once he lived in a dull garden in Groningen. That was not very exciting so he called in the help of the GLF (Gardengnome Liberation Front).
We decided that Roel must spread his message among the other gardengnomes: free the gardengnome.
We, the GLF, will take this gardengnome with us as we travel around the world and will take as many pictures as possible from Roel at far away exotic places.
These pictures will eventually end up by the original owners, who will see there gardengnome on every picture.
On this site you can experience the adventures of Roel while he travels around the world.
On every location Roel will appear on a picture which u can see on this site.
This summer u will be able to see new pictures each time.
On the agenda are among other things, a trip to Switserland, Madam Tusaud
and a trip to Praha.

GLF press release
A long long time ago the gnome was strolling the face of the earth, long time before mankind. Happily he smoked his little pipe or chewed on a blade of grass.
But then, man came. In his knowledge (or maybe despite it) he approached the humans friendly, but instead of living in harmony, mankind hunted the gnomes down and captured them for fun.
That is the why the Dutch Gardengnome Liberation Front (GLF) was formed. The gnome must return to his natural habitat and the GLF will do everything in his power to do so.
Because of the cold winter it was not advisable to release gardengnomes in the wild, but this summer we will fight harder for the rights of the gardengnomes.
The GLF is open and certified no other leader then undersigned, the first freed (and so sacred) gardengnome. Everyone may join our association as long as the rights of our little friends will be respected.
