| They agreed on one thing as far as Kendal was concerned. And that was this- she was hot. She didn't look like your conventional pop star, but her face was captivating. She possesed none of the wide-eyes innocence, or facade of innocence, that made some of the teen idols so captivating. Her face was soft and tender, but hardened against the world. She'd seen pain, that much was obvious. She'd been hurt. And yet, she'd maintained a kind of unchangable beauty. Her complexion with creamy and light, her cheeks were the slightest bit pink and rosy. Her eyes were a sharp, cutting blue that caught one's attention immediatly, and held it. Her hair didn't match the rest of her appearance in the slightest. It was long and silky, but the so dark black that it looked almost blue in the right light. It fell, straight as an arrow, down her back, almost to her waist. She was short, probably about 5'2'', and not so well-enodowed that her chest was the first thing one noticed about her, though not so un-endowed that her lack of her chest was the first thing one noticed about her. She'd boarded the bus that morning wearing a pair of old, faded jeans with holes in both the knees, and a blue tee shirt that matched her eyes. There was no make-up on her face, apart from a light coat of shiny lip gloss, and she wore no jewelry, but she still somehow caught everyone's eye. She was beautiful, no doubt about that, but she didn't have that aura that goes with girls who know how beautiful they are. And at the same time, she didn't carry herself as though she had any insecurities. She was special. "Too bad she's such a bitch." Nick said, putting into words what they all were thinking. All afternoon, she'd been curtly answering their questions, not speaking unless spoken to, not showing even the slightest intrest in getting to know any of them, and avoiding making eye contact. And then, she'd stormed off to bed, stomping out of the room with no explanation as to why she'd suddenly gone from relativly cold to freezing. AJ nodded. "But she's fine, though." "Hell yeah." Nick smiled. "But she's a bitch." Brian shook his head. "Maybe not. This is new to her. She's just adjusting. It's a little disconcerting to get thrown in to this touring thing all of a sudden, she's only been on one other tour in her life, and she was only opening for about half of it, she she was on the road for less than two months. She's gotta get used to us, before we can expect her to be our friend." Nick shrugged. "Or maybe she's just a bitch. Either way, she'd be a fine peice of ass." Kevin and AJ both laughed. "Yeah, man. Like she'll be givin' it up to you." AJ said. Nick shot him a glare. "Oh, like she'd want you any more." "Didn't say she would. I just said she wouldn't want you." "Shut up." Nick snapped. AJ opened his mouth to reply, but Howie interupted. "I think you might of hit a sore spot with that boyfriend question." He told Nick. "I might go apologize to her if I were you. You know, so she doesn't get even more pissed off at you." Nick sighed. "It was just a question." He pointed out, defending himself to Howie, even though he knew that he wasn't attacking him. "A normal question that normal people wouldn't get offended by." Howie shrugged. "Still. It'd suck to have her hate you, living in such close quarters and everything." Nick heaved another sigh, this one louder and more frustrated than last time. "Fine." He said, resignedly. "Fine. I'll go apologize for making small talk. I'll admit what an ass I was to try and get to know her, and beg her to forgive me for taking an intrest in her life." He left the TV room, and made his way to Kendal's bunk. The curtain that surrounded it was pulled closed, so he knocked on the wall beside it. There was a moment on silence from inside, and then a chilling. "What?" Nick stood there for a second, waiting for her to pull back the curtain. But that didn't happen. "Uh, can I come in?" He asked, hesitantly. "Why?" Came Kendal's reply. "So you can tell me to my face that I'm a bitch, but you forgive me, cuz there's a chance I might give you ass?" Nick stood, speachless. "These walls aren't sound proof you know." "Uh. . ." He was at a loss for words. "Just fuck off, okay?" Nick still stood there, rooted to the floor with surprise and embarrasment. So she'd heard them talking. "Go away." Kendal snarled. "One foot in front of the other, and walk away!" He turned, and shuffled back to his friends. They stared at him with raised eyebrows. "You deseved that, man." AJ said. Nick sneered at him. "And you didn't?" "I didn't say I didn't, I just said that you did." Nick turned to Howie. "I tried to apologize. She didn't even give me a chance. I told you, she's a bitch." He didn't bother to lower his voice. In fact, he raised it a little. |
