The 5th Kameradare awards night was a record of fun, excitement, tension & pressure. Unintentionally, most of us committed a lot of "palpaks." Let me share them to you, bato-bato sa langit, ang tamaan ay huwag magagalit.
Edith memorized her well prepared opening remarks. She was surprised when she was called at the beginning of the program. "...and so I hope you enjoy our program & I hope you WANT our pictures, thank you."
Jun received his 2nd medal as a monthly winner when he missed a step on his way back to his seat. Ingat at baka madapa ka ulit.
After Romy M received his exchanged gift picture, he remarked, "Kanino kaya galing itong nabunot kong self-portrait, Mrs Neri?" Edith begged, "puwede bang utang na lang ang gift ko para makabunot din ako?" Did I hear the rule right, no picture, no bunot. Marilou suggested, "Puwede siguro kung tatanggapin mo yung self portrait ni JC (Joe Capule)."
Victor was about to finish crooning his "Suddenly" interpretation when suddenly, something got caught in his throat. Mr Ernie Angeles rendered a "surprise" number, most surprised was Oochie.
Thelma delivered her closing remarks as she was looking for something on the floor. "Where's my medal? I hope you enjoyed the night." After the awards night, we still continued our celebration over at Nipa Hut, a treat by the top 3. William got drunk over a bottle of Pepsi!
