| Cecilia S Angeles O: what do you miss the most about the club? C: i miss the monthly meetings, the adviser's photo acidic tongue, richard see's well groomed hair & big umbrella, the anniversary ots, the photo finished newsletter & philip's humor. O: you've molded a lot of young talents in photography. can you name one that you believe has a success story? C: i was instrumental to victor sison's photography when i invited him to judge at one of kameradare's photo contests. he has grown up since then. in fact, photography is now his source of income. there is also henry ferrer, an electrical engineering graduate from feati. he is now a fashion photographer. there are others who took up engineering but they are now photographers too. O: what happened to the kameradare school chapters? are they still active? C: some officers of school chapters failed to have an election of succeeding officers so the chapter stopped. still existing & active are feati kameradare & cavite state college kameradare. feati won 1st place in the 1998 photoworld interclub contest. O: who is your favorite photographer? C: i like the photos of ansel adams. O: if you had'nt join the 1st ppap photo seminar, do you think you'll ever discover kameradare? C: i'm glad your dad convinced me to join the ppap seminar & i was able to discover the joys in photography & the wonderful people of kameradare. O: can you give us 1 photo tip? C: have enough film when you travel. don't hesitate to bring photo gadgets like changing bag, batteries, filters, dust blower & towel to wrap your camera with. |
