2. About this Guide

This guide is better for NEWBIES. Also, the images may look a little blurry because of it was saved as a .jpeg image. It really looks better in the real game, and its animated too. :P If you haven't joined, you should. Its pretty fun when you have nothing else to do (unless you REALLY like the game, then play it whenever you can :P).

3. Getting Started

Welcome to the Adventure Quest Guide! Now, first, you'll need to do a few things before playing. You must:
1. Sign up.
2. Select your name and your face (which will also choose your gender).
3. Now that you've started your game, WELCOME TO THE TOWN OF BATTLEON!!! Its time to know where everything is in this town. Well, you may explore yourself, but I suggest you read this before going ANYWHERE so you know what to do first. Okay, here's a little screenie. ;)
Good Ol' Scroll - For those of you who couldn't tell, I made up the name. I mean, there really is no name for this scroll, so just call it the "Good Ol' Scroll." :P Anyways, here you can go adventuring and check out the news! What's going adventuring? Its to get into a random battle with a monster. The news is where... well... you know.... you get the news. ;P
Twilly - Twilly is a Moglin and is one of the most useful characters in the whole entire game! He is your healer (for free), lead you to the stat trainers, lead you to the Frogzard Quests, lead you to the Frogzard Challenge, lead you to the Seed Spitter Quest, and lead you to the Moglin Forest Challenge.
Warlic's Magic Shop - Warlic the great wizard is here to serve you. All he does is transform your face... for a cost of course... :(
Aria's Pet Shop - An okay shop. Here, you buy pets to help you in battle! When you buy multiple pets, you can switch your active pet in the shop. Too bad you can't do that in battle. :'( Of course, some of them are too powerful to control, so you Charisma must be raised before you can control a strong pet. Of course it will still attack, but you it its a lighting type and attacks another lightning type when you can't control it, it'll heal the monster, so be careful!
Guardian Tower - Here lies the Stables Challenge (you must be equipped with an animal armor). Nothing really here. But, if you become a Guardian, then the Guardian Tower is probably one of the useful places to go! ;) Of course, in order to become a Guardian, you must pay $12 once and you'll never ever need to pay again. And it doesn't expire either. So you won't need to pay $12 a month. Yep. That's it. Just pay $12 once in your life time! Incredible, huh? :P If your not allowed to, just stick with a free account.
Yuglar's Inn - This is the place that is probably the most useful for free players! Here, you can heal (for free), shop for weapons, shields, armors, etc. You can also decend to Falgorr and Bludrut, go to Willow Creek and Captain Froglar's Sea Quest, and a Paladin Quest (which is on the next screen of the Inn).
