A group of tourists on a ship have a wreck and end up having to swim ect. to save their lives. Most survive and end up reaching a rather large deserted island. Upon reaching they do all the normal stuff people do...collect the wreckage that they might find, try and set up a beacon fire try to make cell phone calls ect.
That night as they try and sleep something weird happens. One by one in their sleep they begin to change. By the morning there are no humans left, only animals. Every human that survived the crash has ended up changing into different animals. As they wake up they are startled to find themselves as animals and they panic. They have their original minds but they also have their instincts as well.
Several days go by and the people do not change back into human. Those that "accepted" their new form soon became more and more animal, those that did not constantly had to fight off the instincts from taking over. After almost a week another ship arrives to rescue the survivors. All day and night they search finding, of course, nothing. They decide to rest that night before heading back.
The next morning comes and once again...the beach is littered with confused animals.
