Phoenix is the city that people love to talk about until the sun sets. Oh sure, it's got it's nightly attractions, but anyone who is smart will stay indoors until the atrocities of the night have gone away and the sun comes up the next day. Bad things happen at night, and bad people are about in the darkness. Contrary to popular belief though, it isn't the gangs or the thugs of this city that roam its strets at night. No, it's something else entirely, something right out of a fairy tale, or a horror book often dragged along on camping trips used to scare little girls at night. The horror of the night is another world entirely, a world in which death and blood are common. It is a world of vampires, a world of darkness.

The kindred run this world, a world in which mortality is used and abused at every turn. Phoenix is a city of death, and a city of riot. It is a city claimed by the Sabbat, and boy wouldn't the Camarilla love to get their hands on it now. Phoenix has recently come under control of the Archbishop Zade Ariando, a renowned Lasombra in the realm of the Sabbat. She's known everywhere as someone cunning enough to have infiltrated the Camarilla, and it's been said that she had a big hand in the fall of Atlanta. Her reputation precedes her, which is one reason the Cardinal decided to appoint her as the Archbishop of the city. Now she has plans, big plans, and they are not about to be counterfit by Cammarilla infiltrators. Phoenix is in for some changes, but as for now....
The years of Zade's predecessors reign were filled with nothing more than fighting. Phoenix might as well have been an Anarch city for all the chaos and destruction it saw. The past year has seen recovery, and Phoenix is starting to become a regular city again, though perhaps the people of Phoenix are putting too much faith in themselves.
