She did what she had to, and nothing more.
Ripped away from her family at the age of 16, she'd had no choice but to
see them in secret. Her life was never the same, changing from the spoilings
of a loving, now dead, father to the secrets of two families, torn apart
by rivalry. She became a spy, playing both sides for fools. Even her own
family never knew of the ultimate goal she'd had in mind. But that was
all lost.
Centuries
later she'd found herself in Phoenix, brought there by her work. After
her embrace she'd undergone extensive training to become what she was,
and now there was nothing in her way. She'd made a name for herself, earned
the respect of all the important people within her sect, and now she was
being called upon once more to continue her work for them. But this time
it was in a manner much different than that of her previous assignments.
Her usual assignments? That was easy... she'd
been called upon time and time again to infiltrate the Camarilla, become
one of them, and ultimately turn the secrets she'd learned over to the Sabbat
Echelons. It has been said that she even helped in the fall of Atlanta,
Georgia. But it was only speculation. She had a habit of coming and going
without leaving so much as a trace of her existence. It's why she was so
good, and why the Sabbat had entrusted her with several very big secrets.
But this time it was different, for the Cardinal of the Western Region had come to Zade herself to deliver her new responsibilities. The meeting was odd, and a little surprising for Zade. Though she knew the Cardinal well, it wasn't Electra's practice to visit anyone but the Archbishops... and well, that was the precise reason for Electra's visit. She had given Zade her new orders, which was the replacement of Alberano Muscovian as Archbishop of Phoenix. It definitely something new and different than what she was used to doing.
The only question that Zade kept repeating to herself was, why? There was obviously a reason behind the Cardinal's choosing of her to be the new Archbishop of the city, but Zade's skill was far better used in the field, wasn't it? She'd become accustomed to the Camarilla's ways, to infiltrating their little cities and handing over the secrets of the Prince to her superiors. She loved her work, and she greatly loved to see the Camarilla suffering ... but was that to be a thing of the past now?
Her hatred of the Camarilla has always been there, since her embrace. It's had time to cool, or to fester, whichever the case may be. Ever since she can remember she's fought alongside her brethren (in her own sort of way) to tear down the false hopes of the Masquerade and bring about the control that the Kindred once had over the kine. It's a hard task, but she's perfect for the job
Her talents come in handy wherever she roams,
and now it's time to enter a new chapter. Perhaps her talents will help
her here, in Phoenix where she must now control the on goings of the Sabbat,
and put a stop to the Anarchists takeover of the city. There's only one
way to find out.
