After all this time of speculation, hope and skepticism, this episode contains one of the most awaited revelations of "Lizzie McGuire". Lizzie/Gordo fans rejoice! Gordo has a crush on Lizzie! (But we knew that all along, didn't we?)

Gordo is working on the last touches for the latest school web zine which includes Lizzie's advice column: Dear Lizzie.

Lizzie: (enters) Hey, did you get my column?

Gordo: Yep. And I see you had it in you to answer one last letter.

Lizzie: Well, I couldn't let Confused Guy down.

Gordo: You didn't.

Lizzie: (puzzled) What?

Gordo: Nothing. Um... Looks like everything's ready to go here.

Here we discover that Gordo is in fact Confused Guy. We are taken into another scene in which Gordo speaks to the camera while an unsuspecting Lizzie sits in the backround reading a book.

Gordo: Dear Lizzie I think I may like my best friend as more than a friend.

He turns to look at her and she notices.

Lizzie: What? Do I, like, have something in my face?

Gordo: (amused) No... You're perfect. (to camera) What should I do? Signed, Confused Guy.

Back to scene. Gordo looks at Lizzie and we hear her 'Dear Lizzie' reply in a voice over.

Dear Lizzie (V.O.): Dear Confused, I wish I could tell you what to do, but I can't.

Veruca enters.

Veruca: Hey, guys. (to Lizzie) You ready to go?

Lizzie: Yeah.

Gordo: Where are you going?

Lizzie: Oh. I'm going to walk Veruca to class. Standing up to her bully didn't really work but we did learn that there's safety in numbers.

Veruca: Come on, we're going to be late.

Dear Lizzie (V.O.): All I can say is just follow your heart. It'll tell you what's right.

Gordo looks at Lizzie in a whole new light now. He stands and approaches her, ready to tell her how he truly feels.

Gordo: Lizzie, wait. Um... There's something I need to tell you.

Lizzie: Yeah?

Gordo pauses for a moment. He hesitates and backs out.

Gordo: You give great advice.

Lizzie is confused, but smiles at him. Gordo smiles back, and we can see that Confused Guy isn't so confused anymore. He's realized his feelings are real!

As Lizzie and Veruca exit, Gordo stares longingly at his best friend as we hear this song:

I need you so much
You're out of reach
You're out of reach, but you're so close

I hear you call
I feel you fall
but you're out of reach.
