| Hidely-ho people and welcome to the second writing from "On The Edge 01". Here I would like to discuss this world and how we make or can make more positive influences on it. Now I, for one, enjoy writing (actually, typing's easier) and I needed a subject with positive influences and something that might possibly help out everyone. I know that there are starving and homeless people and I would like to help in whatever way I can. So I thought that I'd type up this document so that if anyone with the power reads this (the odds are probably 10,000:1), maybe they can help or get an idea of what to do. Ok, the world population has hit 6 billion.and that's a pretty large number of people. And I'm sure that you're all aware of the fact that we have 6 populated continents (unless you count the penguins in Antarctica as people). Countries with so much power that have more than enough supplies and resources should help other countries who are in need. After all, what's the point of working your way to make your nation the world's most powerful nation if you're going to hurt rather than help others? I wish that people would smile at people they didn't even know and that war would stop and that people would help out others in the streets and that criminals would give up their criminal lives and get a safe, secure job. I really hope that this world will evolve into a better place within the next years. I hope something great comes out this millenium; something great that will change all our lives. I just hope that we all put our minds together and find a way to make this world a better place. And in conclusion, I'll once again leave you with a thought, "How can I make this world a better place?". I will now leave you with this mind-boggling question. |
