"London District Catholic School Council is in the midst of reviewing our "Operational Guidelines" and would like information on how other District School Councils (or their equivalent) are set up and how they operate with/report to their Boards of Trustees.
As far as I can tell, the Ministry has not set out any guidelines for District Councils (unlike School Councils which have guidelines including regulations etc). We need to find out how other District Councils are set up, with specifics such as sub-committees; their responsibilities to their Board of Education and Trustees; reporting structures; bylaws; purpose; funding sources etc. etc." |
