| Tables, Ladders and Chairs June 29,2003 Tillsonburg, Ontario The show opened with Commissioner O'Shea coming to the ring and doing a run down of the card for the fans. But Commissioner O'Shea was interrupted when the "Imperial March" started playing from behind the entrance way curtain. The curtain opened with the "Imperial March" being played by Simulated Flavour and the Sports Generation standing there in all their glory. Jessy Jones started by saying that he had a few things to talk about. First thing was that if Kwan Chang wanted to get the OPW Title he should sign with the Sports Generation. Second thing was that Killer Kumpf would not wrestle Jason Phoenix tonight, that the contract said he would face a Sports Generation Member and it would be Shooter Shawn Brown to face Jason Phoenix. Lastly he introduced a prospective member to the Sports generation...Elian Habanaro. The Sport then called out Elian's opponent...Sancho Elian Habanaro w/ the Sports Generation. vs Sancho This was a face paced match that went back and forth until the Sports Generation got involved. Sancho was able to turn the momentum around in his favor and even wound up giving the Sports Generation a plancha and then took the action back in the ring and finished Elian off with a reverse superplex for the win. The generation couldn't leave it at that and beat on Sancho until the referee could clear the ring. Dangerboy and Freak Show vs Eddie Osbourne and Shooter Shawn Brown w/Jessy Jones This match started off fast paced until Shawn Brown, the most experienced participant in the match slowed it down to his pace and took Dangerboy and Freak Show away from their apparant game plan. Freak and Danger turned the match around when Elian Habanaro missile dropkicked Osbourne. Freak Show then set Eddie Osbourne up for a Dangerboy moonsault for the finish. Bad Boy Batty Bat vs Warhed This match was a Chairway To Heaven match. Basically the use of a chair is as legal as a suplex. So to sum up this match...the two participant beat the hell out of each other with every chair in site ( OPW is waiting for a bill from the venue for the chairs that they broke). This match had several near pinfalls with Warhed getting the victory after launching Batty threw a paramid of chairs outside of the ring from the top rope. Warhed then stole Batty's favorite chair and said if he wanted it back he would have to put his mask on the line. This is when Commissioner O'Shea came out and told Warhed he didn't like theives so at the next event in Tillsonburg Warhed would face Batty in a hair vs mask match. Agent Orange and Shawn Styles vs The Highlanders From the get go Styles and Orange didn't get along. It appeared that Styles didn't care for Agent Oranges cheating. The Highlanders were in control of most of this match with the end coming when Styles and Orange got into an argument which the Highlanders took advantage of and reverse slingshot suplexed Agent Orange off the top rope and got the pin. Shooter Shawn Brown W/ Jessy Jones vs Jason Phoenix This was a good match with two equally matched opponents. This match was more a a classical style wrestling match until the Sports Generation got involved and turned the match in Shooter's favor. But that didn't last long as Phoenix and Shooter hit a double clothesline. Shooter picked up Phoenix and threw him into the ropes for an elbow that Phoenix ducked. As Shooter turned around he was met with a super kick, then hit with a clothes line from the second rope. But as the referee counted two the generation came in to break the count. Phoenix got a hold of "The Sport" Jessy Jones but was hit from behind by Eddie Osbourne, giving Jessy Jones a chance to exit the ring. Then Phoenix challenged Jones to a match, that "The Sport" accepted with one condition...Phoenix would have to wrestle all the members of The Sport Generation Gauntlet style to get a shot at "The Sport". Phoenix agreed to the terms, so at the next event he will have a gauntlet match with the generation. J.Q. Publik and Mystery Partner vs Scott Chase and Reggie Marley J.Q. anounced that his partner is Quinson Valentino. Valentino then called the people in attendance a bunch of welfare cases and alcoholics and that the only reason they could make it to the event was because their welfare cheques came in early. These guys showed their dislike for each other the whole match with J.Q. and Quinson using double team tactics to take the advantage in the match. Reggie was able to tag in Scott Chase who cleared the ring, but Reggie and Chase went outside after J.Q. and Quinson and fought all over the Auditorium until both teams were counted out. But the action didn't finish there. J.Q. and Quinson brought Scott chase into the ring to be double teamed, but as they came off the ropes to hit Chase with a double clothesline Reggie grabbed Quinsons leg and pulled him outside. Chase then hit J.Q. with his pumphandle neckbreaker and cleared the ring. OPW Inependant Title The Xzibit vs Wildthing Willy Allen w/Graveyard Xzibit had came out before intermission to tell the fans what he thought of them which prompted Wildthing to come out and ask Commissioner O'Shea to make their title match a hardcore match. Commissioner O'Shea asked the fans if they would like to see the match hardcore and they responded positively.Thes guys fought all over the place, but the match was pretty even until Kwan came out and beat Graveyard down with his kendo stick. this took the action outside again with Xzibit in control. When it came back in Xzibit Russian leg swept Willy on a chair and got a two count. But Willy then hit Xzibit with a stunner that prompted a count from the ref. Xzibit got up first and threw Willy into the rope but Willy countered with a tornado DDT on to the chairs. Willy then put the chair across Xzibit and covered him for the pin. OPW Hardcore Title Kwan Chang vs The Eradicator This match started in the aisleway with the Eradicator running Kwan into the ladder. From there on they continued to brutalize each other with the ladder, with each participant making attempts for the belt. Kwan established some control in the match and beat on Eradicator unmercifully but Eradicator kept coming back and stopping Kwan from getting the belt. Kwan then hit Eradicator with his "Near Death Experience" and started to go up the ladder, then stopped and said he was going to finish Eradicator once and for all. But as he went to grab a chair from the ring apron Graveyard came out and grabbed the chair and slid it between Kwan's legs to Eradicator, who threw it at Kwans head. Eradicator hit Kwan with his "Stake in the heart" and went up the ladder and got the belt to win the match and retain the Hardcore Title. |
