| The Show opened with Color Commentator Murry and Commissioner Mike O'Shea being introduced. The Card for the event was run down and then Commissioner O'Shea announced that Eradicator would be special referee for the OPW Independent title match. Commissioner O'Shea then called out Eradicator and had him guarantee that he would be fair and inpartial in his officiating. Dynamic Duo vs The Highlanders This was a fast paced match that started that started out with the Dynamic Duo (Sid Summers and Quintin thunder Hawk III) telling everyone about how great they are after wrestling for NWA TNA and that they chsed the Highlanders up here because they were too afraid to come to ty U.S. to face the Dynamic Duo. It was a fast paced back and forth matchup with the Highlander getting the wing with their backbreaker finish. Killer Kumpf vs Shawn Spears This match was a David vs Goliath match up. Spears was working a hit and more strategy until Kumpf got ahold of him and clotheslined his head off. Kumpf then proceeded to suplex Spears at will and methodically beat down the high flyer until Kumpf finished him with a german suplex. Xzibit vs Bad Boy Batty Bat Xzibit entered the ring and said he stole Wild Thing Willy Allens Hardcore title last year and now he is going to wim his OPW Independent title. The match got off to a fast pace with Batty using the chair he brings to the ring to his advantage, using it to springboard legdrop off of other highrisk moves that the Nexus one is known for. Then the Xzibit turned it around using his brains as well as his overwelming brawn. Batty then turned it around and just as it looked like he was about to put Xzibit away Warhed made an appearance and distracted Batty which Xzibit took advantage of to get the win. Then Warhed entered the ring and stalked Batty until Batty started attacking Warhed. Warhed reversed Batty into the corner but Batty came out with a clothsline and sat Warded on a chair. Batty then went to the top rope but was cut off by Warhed who threw him through the chair and left the ring. Batty then proceeded to go back to the top rope and sentan the chair and cover it and count a pin?... then he left the ring. Sancho vs Scott Chase This mach was back and forth with Sancho being a last minute replacement for Tyrant Eric Dawson who refused to wrestle Scott Chase. This match was back and forth at first with Scott Chase thentaking control and Sancho using every dirty trick he could. Sancho finally threw Chase out of the ring and hit him with a chair. Sanco then when to hit him with the chair again but Reggie Marley came out and pulled the chair away from Sancho and thre him into the ring where Chase hit him with his pumphandle backbreaker for the win. Reggie and Chase shook hands, then Reggie took the Mic and challenged JQ and Tyrant to a match at the next event. Commissioner O'Shea came out and said that Tyrant and JQ had two options, to wrestle Reggie and Chase or to never wrestle again for OPW. Shawn Brown w/Jessy Jones vs Dangerboy This match was one for the highlite real. This match was back and forth with Shooter showing why he got that name by using throw and submissions to wear down Dangerboy. Dangerboy then went to the air and took control back until The Sport Jessy Jones involved himself in the match. Shooter went back to wearing down Dangerboy until Dangerboy went to the air again and took control. Dangerboy then set Shooter up for a Hurricarana of the top rope but Jessy Jones grabbed Shooters leg preventing it from happeneing. Shooter then piledrived Dangerboy off the second rope adn put a katahajime on for the win. Norther Lights Cruiserweight Title Presentation Murry and Commissioner O'Shea came out to present the cruiserweight title because OPW did not have the title for the last show. Freak Show.was called out and just as Commissioner O'Shea was about to present the title to Freak Show The Imperial March sounded and out came Eddie Osbourne and Jessy Jones and demanded the title match immediatly. Freak Show accepted the match and it was on with Freak Show controlling most of the match even with The Sports interference. Then The Sport got up on the ring apron again and distracted the referee again but this time Shooter Shawn Brown came in the ring and hit Freak Show from behind with the cruiserweight belt which Eddie Osborne capitalized on to get the pin. But The Sport Generation wasn't done yet ans they continued to beat on Freak Show until Dangerboy came out to run off The Sport Generation. The Brigade(Agent Orange and Warhed) vs C.K. Sexx and Jason Phoenix. w/Kiera Sexxton This was a match pitting the young up and comers (Brigade) vs the veterens (C.K. and Phoenix). C.K. and Phoenix took early control of the match with Kiera getting involved and slapping the Brigade members. Phoenix and C.K. kept control until Brigade got C.K. in their corner and kept him on their side of the ring and double teamed him to wear him down. Phoenix was then tagged in and all hell broke loose. C.K. and Agent Orange fought to the back and Jessy Jones came to the ring and had Warhed hold Phoenix while he hit him. Then Bad Boy Batty Bat came to the ring and gave Warhed a chairshot and then they fought to the back also. This Left a downed Phoenix and Jessy Jones alone in the ring. Being the sportsman that he is Jones proceeded to kick Phoenix while he was down, but the kicks had no effect and Phoenix got up and grabbed The Sport. Just as Phoenix was about to teach Jones a lesson Killer Kumpf came in and German suplexed Phoenix. Jones then introduced Kumpf as the newest member of The Sport Generation and told Phoenix "You think this is the end, well it's only the begining". Kwan Chang vs Willy Allen Special Referee Eradicator These two couldn't wait to get at each other in this match with hardcore rules applying. This was definately the crowds favorite match of the evening. These two beat on each other with everything in the building. Wild Thing set The Asian Nightmare on a table outside the ring and jumped off the ring apron but Kwan moved and the side of the table hit Wild Thing in the ribs cracking them. At this point Graveyard was put through a table by Kwan when he prevented Kwan from continuing his attack on Wild Thing. Guest Referee Eradicator was going to stop the match when Wild thing told him to get a bandage from the back. Wild thing taped his ribs and continued the match. Wild Thing put Kwan through a table but Kwan retaliated with an Arabian facebuster, but couldn't get a three count. Then Kwan blamed the Eradicator of a slow count and pushed him. Eradicator pushed Kwan back and just as it lookd like Kwan and Eradicator were going to fight Wild Thing hit Kwan with a chair and finished him with the Highway to Hell and got the pin. |
