| Garden River Bus Tour |
| Come to visit the Garden River First Nation on a personalized tour of our homeland. The Garden River First Nation (reservation) is located east of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario and has approximately 1200 residents. Garden River is enriched in family, culture, tradition, small business and tourism, and is full of history. Garden River is also renown for its talent in fastball and hockey and is the home of Darren Zack and Ted Nolan. The tour includes visiting the community, the new four lane highway, historical churches, the community centre, band office, trap rock, pow wow grounds, ballfield, Ojibway Park, and sacred areas. The tour also stops at the Anglican Church, the St Mary's River, the Garden River, Ben's Baits and Boats, the Healing lodge and the Band Office. To end the tour we will be stopping at a local Fine Arts and Crafts store for some shopping. A lunch of Native Foods will be available.
