| View from the McGarry Tower near Cheminis Mtn looking toward Larder Lake. This is certainly past the hardwood line as all one can see are pine and spruce. Courtesy: Mike Oehring. Below is a view from one of the very 1st wood towers built at the turn of the century at Myer's Cave, Ont. in Barrie Twp. This tower was just south of Bon Echo Park. An 80 ft light steel tower was erected here in 1922 and could see the next nearest tower just south at Kaladar. |
