Below is a view from one of the very 1st wood towers built at the turn of the century at Myer's Cave, Ont. in Barrie Twp. This tower was just south of Bon Echo Park. An 80 ft light steel tower was erected here in 1922 and could see the next nearest tower just south at Kaladar. |

| The Kirkwood Forest Tower here in 1953 near Thessalon, Ont. that looked after the tree nursery and may have been used as one of the towers that was under high alert during the massive Mississagi forest fire of 1948. |
