Welcome to the Online Science Experiments Website. I am currently a 4th year chemistry undergraduate at Oxford University. This website is dedicated to my year long research project which I have undertaken, working for Dr. H Cartwright. The project will involve designing and setting up an experiment, with the apparatus based in Oxford. This will be accessible to schools via a website. Students and teachers will be able to control the apparatus and obtain results via the internet in real-time. A variety of tools will be made available to the user to allow them to interpret the data, eg. graphs. The experiment will be fast, interesting, of great value to the students, interactive and clearly educational. I am aiming the experiment at students aged 15-18. The project I am undertaking is part of a European effort (Comenius Project HSci) to make science more interactive and effective. I am collaborating with two other universities in Europe.
