The aim of my project is to develop an Online Science Experiment, equipment based in Oxford, for use by schools throughout the world using the internet. The project will be split into four sections: 1) The experiment 2) A program to control the experiment 3) A server to relay information from the user to the experiment and vise versa 4) A website to allow the user to connect to the apparatus, run the experiment and then interpret the data The experiment must not consume significant amounts of chemicals, but needs to be something that most school students would not be able to do in their own school lab (because of lack of the appropriate equipment, or perhaps because the experiment is considered to be too dangerous for a school lab). |
