| Christmas Special 2001- 'If They Could See Us Now!' The Trotters are living the high life, but things soon take a turn for the worse, when their investments in Middle America collapse. Declared bankrupt, the Trotters are forced to move back into Nelson Mandela House to work out a way of paying their debts. Meanwhile, Albert, who has been living with Elsie Partridge, dies, and the family travel down to pay their respects. After the funeral, Rodney starts thinking about children, and he and Cassandra decide to try for a baby again. However, that's easier said than done, as they are living with Del now, and never get any peace and quiet. But as luck would have it, Del takes Raquel and Damien out for the evening, leaving the pair to act out their fantasies. Rodney finally gets Cass to dress up as a policewoman, but he doesn't look much like Russel Crowe! Meanwhile, Del has taken the family to a gameshow, Goldrush, in an attempt to win back their fortunes. But is Del really intelligent enough to win the jackpot? |
| Christmas Special 2002- 'Strangers Across the Shore' Del and Rodney go to France to represent Uncle Albert at a reunion for the crew members of HMS Cod. When they get there, they realise that Uncle Albert has populated an entire French village! Cassandra is pregnant due to Damien hiding her contraceptive pills in Uncle Albert's urn and is very emotional. In a bid to make a few quid, Del persuades Denzil to come to France and fill his lorry with duty-free booze, but soon regrets this when he finds what he thinks is a refugee in the back. On top of all this, Boycie just can't get away from the smell of onions! |
