Tying Instructions: 1. Tie in thread at hook point. 2. Tie a small dubbing ball just before the hook bend. Tie in 2 hackle fibers midway up the hook and stop just short of the ball. Split the fibers, wrap to the ball keeping the fibers separated. 3. Tie in biot, advance thread to 1/3 point of hook shank. Wrap biot forward, tie off and trim. 4. Using a sparse amount of dubbing, build 2 dubbing "dams". Lay Z-lon between the dams, perpendicular to the hook shank. Secure the wing with crossing wraps of dubbed thread. 5. Advance thread to eye, tie off, finish and cement. |
