[Sulpher Comparadun]

Pattern Illustration
Sulpher Comparadun
Tied by Lance Kekel

Hook: #14-18 Fine wire dry
Thread: Pale yellow 8/0
Tail: Dun microfibbets
Body: Sulpher spinner blend
Wing: Light coastal deer hair

Tying Instructions:

1. Tie in thread at hook point. Tie in microfibbets, split two to each side.

2. Dub body.

3. Tie in deer hair, fan wing style.

4. Lightly dub forward of wing.

5. Build head, finish and cement.

Notes: This is a pattern that you want to tie with a very slim thorax. I ran out of fine wire hooks in #16, so my swap flies were tied on standard dries. [Ed.] They turned out good anyway.
