Hook: #14-10 streamer hook
Thread: Black 6/0
Tail: Dark green or olive marabou
Body: Cream embroidery floss - 3 strands
Rib: Oval tinsel, gold or copper
Wing: Bottom - Yellow bucktail
Bottom middle - Orange bucktail
Upper middle - Green bucktail
Upper - Dark green bucktail

Tying Instructions:

1. Tie in thread at eye. Wrap to bend, tie in sparse tail.

2. Tie in tinsel and floss. Advance thread to 2 - 3 eye lengths back from eye.

3. Wrap floss forward, tie off and trim. Counterwrap tinsel, tie off and trim.

5. Tie in wing, starting with bottom material and working up through wing. Tie in each layer slightly behind the previous layer to maintain a smooth, tapered head. Tips of the bucktail should be evened, and each color should be progressively longer as you move up through the wing.

6. Build a smooth head, finish and cement.
