Tying Instructions: 1. Tie in thread at 1/3 point, wrap to bend. 2. Tie in grizzly hackle, and dub 1.5 inches of thread. Dub to tie in point. 3. Palmer grizzly forward, tie off and trim. Trim hackle flush to top of body. 4. Tie in 5 - 6 wood duck fibers, length to just beyond hook bend. Tie in two turkey wing segments. 5. Trim turkey butts, thread to eye and back, securing butts to hook. 5. Tie in hackle, advance thread slightly. Wrap 2 - 3 turns of hackle, tie off, trim and secure. 5. Finish head and cement. Notes: Use anytime a light colored caddis is out and about. It is a good attractor also and can be skittered across the surface because of the palmered hackle across the bottom of the shank. Have fun, I hope it works for you. |
