Hook: Long shank dry, appropriate size Thread: Blue 6/0 Tail: Furled blue vernille Body: Blue closed cell foam Wing: Fine nylon tulle |

Tying Instructions: 1. Tie in thread at eye of hook, wrap back to bend. 2. Wind vernille tightly until it furls, twisting against itself when released. 3. Tie in vernille at tail, then tie in strip of foam, extending back over hook bend. 4. Advance thread to mid-point and tie in tulle. Use figure-8 wraps to gather tulle over hook shank and leave ends flared. 5. Pull foam forward of wing tie in and tie down. 6. Lift foam, and advance thread to eye of hook. 7. Pull foam forward, tie off and trim. 8. Whip finish. |
