Tying Instructions: 1. Secure thread to hook, wrap to end. 2. Tie in marabou feather and doubled up strand of rubber, as long as feather. 3. Tie in foam. 4. Advance thread to head. 5. Wrap thread back an 1/8" from eye and pull foam forward. 6. Secure foam with several wraps and trim head flush with eye. 7. Tie in rubber legs at foam tie off point, Madame X style. 8. Whip finish. 9. Super glue exposed thread. 10. Apply yellow puff paint to rear 1/3 of bottom of fly, as well as a dot on top. Let dry, then heat with a hair dryer on high. |
