Hook: Wet fly hook #14 - 16
Thread: 2 ply fuzzy wool, acrylic sport or baby yarn
Body: Yarn
Wing: Yarn
Head: Small glass or silver craft bead



Tying Instructions:

1. Wind yarn onto an empty thread spool and mount in a material bobbin.

2. Crimp barb on hook, slide bead to eye and place hook in vise.

3. Tie in yarn about 3 bead widths back from the bead, wrap to bead, then wrap tightly back to bend, wrap back to tie in.

4. Whip finish yarn, the whip finish should give you a bump to suggest a thorax.

5. Trim tie-in tag flush with the bend of the hook, cut the tie-off tag long enough for wing.

6. Unravel and tease wing wing with bodkin. Treat entire body with Loon Outdoor solvent head cement (or equivelant) and let dry.
