Tying Instructions: 1. Tie in emu tips at barb of hook approximately 1/2 hook length, do not trim. 2. Wrap emu to hook shank, advancing thread to eye, and back again. 3. Tie in foam at tail, free end pointed away from eye. 4. Wrap emu herl to rear of hook, doubling up on abdomen to add bulk. 5. Tie off herl and pull foam forward. Wrap create three segments in tail section of nymph using tying thread, then advance thread forward and pull foam hook eye. 6. Tie off at head and finish. |

Notes: This is a simple but effective fly. You can add hackle to it if you wish but it's generally unnecessary. |
