Thread: Black Danville 6/0
Body: Disc of black foam
Underbody: 3 peacock herl
Legs: 3 peacock herl pieces, 1/2" long
Misc.: Hi-Vis



Tying Instructions:

1. Secure thread to hook, wrap to rear.

2. Tie in herl underbody, wrap thread to hook eye.

3. Wrap herls forward, tie off. Return thread 1/3 shank length from hook eye.

4. Tie in herl pieces across the body to form legs.

5. Place disc on top of hook, wrap 3 times to secure, same tie in point as legs.

6. Place Hi-Vis on top of foam and tie in.

7. Lift front edge of foam disc, half hitch or whip to secure. Glue as desired.

5. You can trim foam to show the underbody, or cut the disc to represent a V-style wing. Trim legs roughly even.
