Hook: Long shank dry to match desired size
Thread: Brown 6/0
Underbody: Brightly colored poly yarn
Body: Yellow foam
Rib: Copper Wire
Wing: Deer Hair tips
Head: Brown Foam
Legs: Black rubber
Post: High contrast poly yarn
Hackle: Brown



Tying Instructions:

1. Tie in thread and wrap shank.

2. Tie in poly yarn and copper wire at 1/3 length from eye and wrap yarn to bend.

3. Wrap thread over yarn and wire to bend. Form small tag of yarn, pull yarn back to eye, wrap with thread back to original tie in point.

4. Tie in foam and bind down towards hook bend with thread. Wrap thread back to tie in point.

5. Pull foam forward and tie off. Wrap with copper wire, tie off and trim both.

6. Tie in �" pieces of turkey feather, angled back over yellow foam. Trim flush with yarn tag at end of hook.

7. Tie in brown foam and bind forward to eye, wrap thread back to 1/3 point.

8. Attach the rubber legs on either side Madam X style, tie in poly yarn post. Post yarn upright with several wraps of thread.

9. Tie in brown hackle at base of post, wrap up post 3 wraps, and down 3 wraps, through previously wrapped hackle. Tie off hackle tip under foam head.

10. Pull brown foam back to 1/3 point and tie off, whip finish, go fish.
