CALLING
ALL OTOWN STREET TEAM MEMBERS!!!!
WE
ARE LITERALLY ONLY A FEW WEEKS AWAY FROM THE RELEASE OF THE 2nd
ALBUM!!!! IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW ALREADY....THE TITLE OF OUR SECOND
ALBUM WILL BE......(cue drum roll)......O2......THE LETTER O (not a
zero) and the number two!! WE WERE PLAYING WITH IDEAS AND THAT ONE
JUST STUCK.
.....O2......catchy
huh? NOT
ONLY IS IT THE YEAR OUR SOPHOMORE RECORD WILL HIT SHELVES ALL OVER
THE WORLD (2002) IT JUST MAKES SENSE THAT OTOWN'S 2ND ALBUM WILL BE
CALLED SIMPLY.....O2
AS
WE WRITE THIS WE ARE AT A RECORDING STUDIO IN ORLANDO FLORIDA
SINGING OUR HEARTS OUT AND PUTTING FINAL TOUCHES ON SEVERAL SONGS
THAT YOU WILL HERE WITHIN A MATTER OF WEEKS!! WE HAVE PUT TOGETHER
WHAT WE ARE CALLING THE "OTOWN O2 PREVIEW TOUR".....it
starts MAY 15th and it is the only way to hear new OTOWN songs
before THE ALBUM RELEASE IN JULY.
THIS
IS THE MOST EXCITED WE HAVE EVER BEEN AND WHAT MAKES IT EVEN BETTER
IS KNOWING THAT WE HAVE ALL OF YOU STREET TEAM MEMBERS SUPPORTING US
AND BELIEVING IN US EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. ERIK AND TREVOR ARE
LOOKING AT THE PICTURES FROM OUR ALBUM PHOTO SHOOT...THEY'RE REALLY
COOL.....WE TOOK THEM IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ON THE BEACH IN
MALIBU....WE THINK YOU'LL LIKE THEM A LOT.
AS
SOME OF YOU MAY KNOW WE'VE DECIDED TO TAKE A BREAK FROM FILMING A
4TH SEASON OF MAKING THE BAND SO THAT WE COULD CONCENTRATE MORE ON
OUR MUSIC. WE FELT THAT WE COULDN'T DEVOTE AS MUCH TIME AS WE NEEDED
TO MAKE A GREAT ALBUM WITHOUT THE TV SHOW SUFFERING...SO WE HAD TO
CHOOSE. DON'T BE SAD, THAT DOESN'T NECESSARILY MEAN THAT THERE WON'T
EVER BE ANOTHER MAKING THE BAND!! ACTUALLY, WE MIGHT BE IN THE
GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS FOR THE LONGEST RUNNING REALITY TV
SHOW WITH THE SAME CAST!!....NOW IT IS TIME FOR US TO CONCENTRATE ON
WHAT IT HAS REALLY BEEN ABOUT FROM THE VERY BEGINNING....THE MUSIC.
WE
WILL BE SHOOTING OUR VIDEO SOON SO MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR EMAIL AS
WE WILL BE WRITING MORE LETTERS THE CLOSER WE GET TO ITS PREMIERE ON

DEAR
STREET TEAM MEMBERS-
IT'S
BEEN WAY TOO LONG SINCE WE'VE WRITTEN!!!! By now your all probably
wondering to yourselves what in the world has been happening
recently and this is gonna take a big breath and a really long
run-on sentence SO HERE WE GO.....
We
just recently got back from our European tour where all of us
learned to speak a little German, came back with suitcases splitting
open at the seams full of souvenirs, and on the last day of our very
last performance Ashley slipped off a stage in front of about 15,000
German fans because of some water and had to walk around all of the
airports on the flight home with one of those travel pillows for
planes strapped to his neck---then, we began recording in Los
Angeles where the 2nd OTOWN ALBUM IS FINALLY COMING TOGETHER!....(no
one is more excited than we are)....followed by a very busy schedule
of finishing our demos and songs we have written.......AND getting
ready to go out on tour again in MAY BEFORE OUR ALBUM COMES OUT JULY
9TH!!!......phew, there we said it.
Now
that we are back in America and we have adjusted to the time
again(for a while we were sleeping all day and staying up all night)
we will be in touch a lot more.....we send our love to all of the
fans who have been writing us constantly to let us know we were
missed while we were away from home. We certainly missed you!

DEAR
STREET WARRIORS FROM ALL OVER THE EARTH,
All
the way from GERMANY we called in live to TRL and witnessed the
"retiring" of our video "WE FIT TOGETHER".....AT
NUMBER ONE STATUS!!!!! Not only did the video go to NUMBER ONE many
times over...the very last day it will ever air as part of the TRL
countdown it went out at the TOP. Thank you from the bottom of our
hearts and across the ATLANTIC ocean for your never ending support.
We are still out here on the road in GERMANY performing for sold out
crowds all over the place. One of the best things about GERMANY is a
highway called the AUTOBON. Believe it or not there are NO SPEED
LIMITS on this road!! So, for those of us with a few too many
speeding tickets in our past (Ashley and Erik...but who's mentioning
names?) this AUTOBON highway is a dream come true.
Oh
yeah...you know how we'll talk in between songs at concerts? We
learned how to say it all in GERMAN...the last time we were here,
Ashley made a big mistake and accidentally screwed up his
GERMAN....he ended up saying something totally ridiculous...it's
going to be on MAKING
THE BAND soon so don't miss it. Speaking of MTB...what do you think
of the new episodes? MTV is loving how much you fans are tuning
in...make sure to watch on SATURDAY nights to catch the new episodes.
We
would send postcards to every single one of you but we know that
would take 2,734 hours (we did the math on Dan's calculator) so we
will keep writing letters to keep in touch. Meanwhile, stay tuned
for new episodes of MTB and to hear new songs for the upcoming 2nd
album.

Dear
O-Town Street Team,
Wassup
everybody?!? This is Dan...writing from Hamburg, Germany. It
is cold and rainy here BUT it is our first day off since we've
got to Europe! Our tour here is going really GREAT, we have
sold out every show so far...
So,
I am really writing to all of you today for two reasons...
The
first reason is to THANK YOU all for the INCREDIBLE support
you have given us over the past year and, in particular,
our videos on TRL. As you know, WE FIT TOGETHER is only one
day away from retirement!!!! And, you all got it to #2 this
week!!! ROCK ON!!! Can you believe it?!?!? We can't!!!
Honestly, it feels like it was just yesterday when we shot it
in Los Angeles. Hopefully, we won't jinx ourselves (there is
still ONE more DAY) but it such a RARE honor to achieve TRL
retirement and, because of all of you and your hardwork, it
looks like ours is going to be one of those few to make it!
From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!!!
And,
secondly, I think many of you have read a note that is
circulating from me regarding my girlfriend Erin. While I know
none of you guys would ever bash her, it really bothered me to
see some bad messages about someone I care about posted on
various message boards. So, I had my mom post a note from me.
I just want to thank you all personally for understanding my
feelings. I know if anyone can help solve this problem, you
guys can.

Dear
O-Town fans,
Wassup?
This is Dan. No, I'm not kidding. The real Dan. This
letter comes from my heart and I hope you will take it
in the spirit in which it was written.
First
of all, I want to thank you all again for your amazing
support. Your response to our shows has been
overwhelming. Thanks to you, We Fit Together is about to
retire on TRL. Thank you for faithfully watching Making
the Band and for continuing to support us while we are
so far from home for so long. All that means so much to
me.
I
don't get to visit O-Town sites very often, but I
recently visited some and was shocked and appalled by
the comments made at SOME sites about my girlfriend Erin.
Due
to circumstances, Erin hasn't been seen on MTB, and I
tend to keep my personal life private, so I realize you
don't know much about her. I'd like to tell you some
things about her now.
Erin
was my high school sweetheart. We feel blessed to be
together again. She is beautiful, inside and out. She is
completely supportive of me in all I do. She can't be
with me as much as we'd like right now because she is in
her final semester of pre-med at a very competitive
university.
The
false and unkind things said on some of these sites make
me very sad because Erin is an incredibly nice person
who has done nothing to deserve this. I am madly in love
with her, and what hurts her hurts me as well.
The
O-Town fans I know are some of the kindest, most
supportive people ever. The people who say these
thoughtless things are not the fans I know. But they
give everyone a bad name.
I'm
writing this to ask the O-Town fans I know and love to
continue your amazing support of us. I'm also asking
that you treat Erin, as well as the other guys'
girlfriends, with the same kindness and consideration
that you've always shown to me. If you're saying these
things, please stop. Even if you aren't saying these
things, you can help me by doing all you can to put a
stop to it. Please remember that the things posted on
these sites are seen by many people; and the untrue and
unkind ones really hurt.
Thanks
very much for your understanding and, once again, for
all of the incredible support you continue to give us.
