Dan and Cindy separate after three years 'cause Dan thought that he don't have enough time for a relation and that he couldn't be still the boyfriend he wanted to be ("I just couldn't be the boyfriend I wanted to be to her."). And Cindy understood. She never wanted to stand in his way of life or hold him away from his dreams ("I would never stand in the way of something he's been of his whole life." "I'm never gonna hold Dan back from his dreams."). Cindy went together with Dan to the casting for O-Town (watch above (10th picture)) and was glad with Dan when he came into the band. But soon they argue more and more and so they decided to separate. After that Cindy still supported Dan and they're still friends...
