Band History
Everybody's Side Project was the original name for Amid Morning Sky. It began in the summer of 2002 - Daryl & Justin would sit in Daryl's living room. Daryl singing and playing his bass and Justin jamming on his acoustic guitar. They soon started composing songs/lyrics and realized they wanted to go somewhere with this.  Both having been in previous bands (Johnny 5 & Killing Time) decided they needed another guitarist to make everything sound fuller and complete. So they asked Rob Rievely to join (ex-Johnny 5 as well).
They played a few acoustic shows at the Gino A. Marcus Center as a three-piece.
The next member to join was Rawb Beren. (Daryl was originally playing bass for the band but wanted to focus more of the creative aspect of the band -composing bass lines and writing lyrics.)
Practices would happen in Daryl's basement (usually on Saturday's).
The next critical component would be a drummer.
And at the time it seemed as if every drummer in Windsor was unable to play.
Luckily, their good friend Long Way Home (ex- Rug Doctors) drummer Kyle White volunteered to temporarily drum. This would also be around the time when the name change occured - everybodys side project (esp) to amid morning sky (ams).
Since mid November the boys have been rawking out with an unbelievable response.
