Episode 3 Part One
Scene 1
Central Palace Hotel
Kymberly goes up to give her acceptance speech, as the crowd cheers on. Marey waits for Shay to come out of the spotlight.
Marey is determined to get answers from Shay.
Thinking to herself…
Marey: "Shay has got to give some answers before the night is over.
Scene 2
Back at the Church…
Kelly realizing she left her keys inside of the Church turns around to retrieve them.
Meanwhile… Melinda has been in the basement of the church freshening up, for the Gala.
Upstairs… Joy and Donnell's confrontation heats up.
Joy: "Your wife huh" "I don't recall you being married with a child"
Donnell: "Joy, stay out of this, before you screw everything up." "Besides, what you are doing is against the law."
Joy: "I'm sure, you won't go to the authorities, unless you want Marey to find out the truth."
Donnell: "Marey is my friend, I am not out to use her." "I only want to protect her, and her child"
"And how long have you been standing here?"
Joy: "Long enough to hear some juicy confessions."
Melinda comes from upstairs…
Melinda: "May I ask what is going on?"
Door opens… Kelly gives everyone a puzzled look, as she retrieves her keys.
Kelly picks up her keys, and walks to the door.
Joy: "NOT SO FAST"
Scene 3
Brandi and Desire slowly comes upon the Welcome to Chances sign…
Brandi: "We finally made it, now we can expose Kymberly once and for all."
Scene 1
Marey pulls the picture from her purse one more time to give it second look, before approaching Shay.
Marey then has a flashback. Marey sees a homeless family in this flashback.
Next she hears a baby's cry, and then she snaps back to reality.
Marey: (Thinking to herself) "What was that all about."
Marey approaches Shay.
Marey: "Shay we need to talk"
On the other side of the party… Ivy Wade the town psychic predicts that someone in Chances will die tonight!!!
Meanwhile…Marey and Shay.
Marey continues to give Shay an awkward look.
Marey sees a childlike innocence in Shay's face. Marey shakes her head in disbelief. Looking back up at Shay.
Marey: "He's yours isn't he?"
Scene 2
Back at the church….
Joy: "Now that I have the three of you together, let's get everything out in the open."
Kelly: "Joy what's going on?"
Donnell: "She was hiding in the back, while we gave our confessions."
Joy: "Looks like the three of you are in this together." "You're all wealthy people, you have until midnight tonight, to come up with $25million, between the three of you."
Melinda looks on in disbelief, and thinks to herself.
Melinda thinking: "By midnight tonight, you'll be dead"
Joy walks out of the church.
Joy: "See ya, at the Gala"
Melinda, Kelly, and Donnell stare at each other.
Melinda thinks about the gun in her purse.
Donnell remembers the gun in his dresser.
Kelly contemplates coming clean.
Scene 3.
Desire stops Brandi.
Desire: "Brandi look at this."
Brandi looks up at the front page of the Community Sentinel; headline reads
"Celebration in Honor of Aaliayah Sommers, at Central Palace Hotel. "
Brandi: "We have to get there now and stop her."
Grand Finale
Later on that day, everyone in town has gathered at the Central Palace Hotel.
Joy comes form the bathroom after freshening up.
After walking out of the bathroom, Joy feels a hand around her neck,
Joy is then snatched up by the mysterious person, and thrown down the laundry chute.
Meanwhile… Everyone gets ready for the Grande Cruise; everyone at the party boards the cruise ship.
Marey stops Shay from boarding.
Marey: "I remember now." "How could you?" "Malik is your child."
Shay: "For $2 million you can keep him"
Marey: "I don't believe you."
Shay: "Wait a minute, for $5 million, you can keep him and his father."
Marey fully remembers where she is from, and decks Shay to the ground.
Marey steps over Shay to board the cruise ship, and find Donnell.
