Episode 1

Scene 1

We first hear a loud knock at the Day Mansion. Kelly awakes in a cold sweat. Kelly looks at the clock and realizes she is late for her doctor's appointment.

Kelly throws on her robe and goes to answer the door.

Detective Rick Portiere appears before her.

Rick: "Kelly May I step in."

Kelly: "Sure Rick, is something wrong?"

Rick: "I am afraid so. Kelly have a seat"

Kelly hesitantly sits down on the sofa, and wonders what could be wrong.

Scene 2

The ambulance rushes the unidentified woman and her child to the hospital, while paramedics desperately try and rescue Jensen from the blazing car.

Scene 3

Shay arrives at Chances University Hospital. She stumbles over to the secretary and asks for Dr. Robbie Dupri.

Seconds Later…. Robbie walks off of the elevator and rushes towards Shay. She can see that Shay isn't feeling well.

Robbie: "What happened to you Shay, you don't look well"

Shay: "Robbie, I didn't want to do it."

Robbie: "Shay what are you talking about"

Shay: "Robbie help me"

Robbie: "Someone get emergency, NOW…"--- "Shay tell me what's wrong."

Shay: "I..I..I"

Robbie: "Shay talk to me."

Shay: "I hate you, I hate you."

Shay starts to attack Robbie.

Robbie: "Shay calm down and tell me what's wrong sweetie. "

Shay stares Robbie into the eyes, and collapses into her arms. The nurses and doctors come to Shay's aide, and rush her to emergency.

A puzzled Robbie looks on in disbelief.

Robbie: (Wondering to herself) What was that all about?

Robbie quickly makes way to the emergency room.

(No one in Chances knew that Shay was pregnant)

Scene 1

Back at the Day Mansion

Rick: "Your mom was in a terrible car accident."

Kelly: "Oh no, where is she?"--- "Is she OK?"

Rick: "We don't know yet. We need you to come over to the hospital."

Kelly: "The hospital?"

Rick: "Yeah Kelly, that's usually where they take people, when they've been in an accident."

Kelly: "Oh yeah, I knew that, what was I thinking."

(What else more important could be occupying Kelly's mind, at this time)

Rick: "I can drive you."

Kelly: "I'm fine."

Rick: "You seem a little shook up. --- Is something else bothering you?"

Kelly: "No--- I'm fine. ---I'll be over."

Rick: "Well I guess…"

Kelly interrupts

Kelly: "Better yet, wait up Rick I'll ride with you, let me throw on something else."

Kelly enters her room. She looks in the mirror; she asks herself, " What have I gotten myself into." Kelly sits on the bed and cries. She then begins to talk to herself.

Kelly: "Get yourself together Kelly."

Kelly gets dressed and goes downstairs. She and Rick head to the hospital.

Scene 2

The ambulance enter the Chances University Hospital, the unidentified woman has been identified as Marianna, by the tattoo on her left arm.

Ambulance: "Marianna are you all right?"

Marianna:: "Where's my baby?"

Ambulance: "Your baby is fine."

Marianna: "I have to see my baby"

Ambulance: "Marianna calm down."

Marianna: "Call me Marey.--- I need to see my baby."

Ambulance: "When we get to the hospital, you'll get to see your baby."

Police Officer: "Do you have someone we can contact?"

Marey: "Sure.--------------------

Marey looks for her purse. She can't find it. She touches her forehead.

"I can't find my purse. ------- But you can call…………"

Marey goes blank.

Marey: "This can't be happening, I can't remember a thing."

Police: "Where were you headed?"

Marey gives the police officer a puzzled look.

Marey: "I DON'T" KNOW"

Scene 3

Jen has been rescued from the blazing car, and has now entered the hospital. Jen awakens, drenching wet, exhausted in a dark room. A familiar face stands over Jen. It's the Devil, in the form of the Duke Knight.

Jen: "I thought my sister killed you"

Duke: "She did!!!--- We're in hell"

Jen: "What are you talking about?--- this type of stuff only happens on soap operas"

Duke: "You're dead. This is your after life"

Jen: "Look damnit this isn't PASSIONS--- All I have to do is wake up and get out of here."

Duke: "It's not that easy. Remember you are dead."

Jen: "Wait a minute---this isn't a game………---Please let me go, I--- have to get back to my family. My daughter, my son, my grandson, my HUSBAND."

Duke: "Husband?"

Duke: "We have your husband"

Jen looks over and sees a chained and bound Hailey.

Duke: "He's paying for your sins--- so let's make a deal Jen. Then I'll set you free."

Jen: "No, what about Hailey"

Duke: "I'll give you one last Chance!!!--- Let's make a deal Jen"

Jen thinks, and debates with her conscience, before saying

Jen: "YES WHAT IS IT THAT YOU WANT"

Duke: "I knew you'd see it my way."

Jen: "What do I have to do?"

Duke: "Bring my love Keagan to me. In return you can have your life back, and Hailey"

Jen: "How will I do that?"

Duke: "You have to force her to the evil side."

Jen: "Keagan has a heart of pure gold. She'd never really intentionally hurt anyone"

Duke: "I know it will be a challenge. But I've made it easy for you. Force her to kill Samantha."

Jen: "My own sister?"

Duke: "Yes the woman who killed me,--- and framed Keagan."

Jen: "I will not."

Duke: "Yes you will. --- After Keagan kills Samantha, you have to kill Keagan before she can ask for forgiveness. Then she will be sent to me."

Jen: "Please God help me".

Duke: " Don't say that name around here. You have until New Years 2001. If you don't……….

Jen: "What?"

Duke: "Your loved ones will suffer. --- Oh and, one more thing.--- I'd advise you to act fast, the longer you take, the more you will see your life, and the life of your loved ones, crumble right before your very eyes."

Jen reawakens in the hospital room. Duke has disappeared. Jens wonders was she dreaming, or was all of that for real.

Finale

All Scenes.

Kelly and Rick enter the hospital.

Kelly immediately goes to see Dr. Joe Hunter.

Kelly enters his office

Dr. Hunter: "Kelly dear, you are late"

Kelly: "I know."

Dr. Hunter: "I said it was urgent"

Kelly: "Well what is it"

Dr. Hunter: "Kelly you tested negative for HIV, but that doesn't mean you are in the clear yet. You'll have to come back around December to test again. In the meantime, don't involve yourself in any risky behavior."

Kelly: "That's a relief!--- Are you sure everything's all right?

Dr. Hunter: "Yes I am. --- But there is one thing."

Kelly: "What could that be?"

Dr. Hunter: "Kelly you are pregnant!"

Kelly: "I have to go see my mom."

Kelly walks into the hospital corridor.

Attorney Tristian Cates is there to talk with Kelly and Jen.

We see the Doctors handing Marey "her" baby. The police officer brings Marey her cell-phone.

Police Officer: "We dialed the last number in your phone. It looks like you were calling that number around the time of the accident."

Marey: " I don't recognize that number."

Donell Jonez walks up and immediately recognizes Marianna. Before he can say anything, Tristian pulls Marey to the side.

Tristian: "We've decided to settle out of court for $2.5million a piece for you and your child."

Marianna can't believe her ears.

Marey: "No, that's too much. We are fine. Just pay our doctor bills we'll be all right."

Tris: "Are you sure."

Marey: "Positive."

Tris: "Can we get that in writing?"

Donell: "No you can't. As you can see my wife is incoherent. Officer this is my wife. "

Marey looks at Donell in amazement.

Donell: "Sweetheart you have had a long day. Let's go home. Attorney, here's my card I will be handling this."

Marey and Donell walk off. Marey bumps into Shay. Shay immediately recognizes her child. Marey and Donell enter the elevator. Shay faints, nurse's rush to her aide.

Meanwhile...

Kelly wonders who the father of her child is.

Jen is coming to terms that she has made a deal with the devil.

Kelly approaches Jen.

Kelly: "Mom brace yourself.--- I have some good and bad news"

Finally…

Marianna "Marey" is trying to figure out who she is, and who is this strange man claiming to be her husband.
