If you're looking for a restaurant anomaly, I've discovered two places in Sakuragi-cho that you would definitely want to check out!
Chano-Ma - This is a bar/restaurant that serves you on BEDS! It's a very nice place for dates or just to chill. The music is mostly funk and house. It serves all kinds of cocktails, alcohol, and good portion sized finger foods and desserts. It's located in the Red Bricks Warehouse building, 3F (about a 10-15 minute walk from Sakuragi-cho Station - past World Porters, the Ferris Wheel, the 2 bridges, and through the street that leads towards a hotel).
Seiryumon - This is a great Chinese restaurant that I had doubts for in the beginning, but I was pleasantly surprised by the portion size and taste. The part that sets this Chinese restaurant apart is the night show (twice a night from 7-9 PM). I don't want to spoil the show, so let's just say that the restaurant's setting makes you feel like you're dining in a submarine, and there will be water. It's located next to Friday's in the building with the NEXT sign, 3F. Call 045-222-0571, or visit their site!
