WARTS
Warts are growths on the skin caused by a virus infection caused by virus, most common being human papillomavirus group.
They could occur anywhere on the skin.
They are usually painless & may appear either raised or firmly attached to the skin.
Also they could be either soft or hard & horny to touch.
They are usually painless except maybe when they occur on the soles where the constant pressure due to the bodyweight might cause them to be painful.
Warts may remain as they are for years without multiplying or increasing in size or at times multiply & increase in size gradually.
Warts, in the past and even presently are often treated locally with the help of some liquid or solution. Some cases are treated by cauterization (burning the warts) by skin doctors. All such measures, it has been observed, are temporary; and the warts reappear after some time.
