FAQ
SHEET
1.
What was your last birthday like?
I spent my last birthday (February 22) in New York. Because it fell on
a Monday, a few friends, my mom and I had dinner the Sunday before. On my real birthday, I spent it (onstage) with my co-workers in Miss
Saigon. What a way to turn twenty-eight!
2.
Who was your first crush? First love?
Oh, I'm keeping this information secret, thank you! Actually, I had
crushes on different guys as I was growing up...but my first love...ah, that I'm keeping to myself.
3.
Who was the first to make you cry/break your heart?
The first to make me cry? Probably the first person who ever hit me
at Dodgeball. I was around five years old. As for my first heartbreak, I was a little older.
4.
What's the most stupid thing you ever did for love?
I don't think I've ever done anything stupid, at least nothing I
personally considered stupid. Hmmm...I'll have to think about that.
5.
When was the last time you splurged? What did you buy?
The last time I splurged? I don't shop often, but when I do I'm dangerous. The last spree was in London
-- clothing mostly. The prize was a new winter coat, something that I was looking for since last winter.
6.
How do you manage stress?
I sleep, surf the Net, read a book, take a l-o-n-g shower, talk to my friends. Sleep is the best, though.
7.
How do you keep fit, look beautiful?
Let's see...I don't diet, I get too lazy to exercise (nakakatamad talaga). All I do is get plenty of sleep, eat
almost anything in moderation (desserts included). I don't smoke, I hardly drink, and I keep my face free of
makeup when I'm not working. I just live a ver happy life, and that takes care of everything.
8.
What makes you happy?
Work, friends, family. Sounds simple, doesn't it? Oh, and a really good tiramisu.
9.
What provokes your anger?
Not very much...when people I work with don't show a high degree of professionalism, work, discipline and
true love for their work. That, more than anything, gets my goat.

10.
What is the one thing about you that many people do not know about -- but you wish they knew?
That I'm actually a nice person, fun to be with, and a little crazy.
11.
What's on your bedside reading table these days?
Right now, because I'm working on a play, my script is the one thing that's there. Once things become more
settled with the production, I'll be able to focus on my reading again. |

FOOD!!!
13.
What's the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?
Turn on my computer and check my e-mail (work and personal stuff), then perform
my bathroom duties.
14.
The last thing you do at night?
Reflect on the day, finish up whatever homework I have, then rest for the night.
15. What's the first film you ever saw?
Oh, I don't remember...I really can't remember...must have been a children's film...
16.
What's the best film (or musical) you've ever been in?
Oh by far, Miss Saigon. For the challenge it offered, the range it required, and how
much fun it was the last time I did the show.
17.
What's the worst?
I'd rather not comment...
18.
Which role do you wish you'd played?
Evita is still the brass ring for me...after that I think I can retire.
19.
Which role do you regret having played?
I can't say that I regret any of the roles I've played. I learned something from each experience, from playing
each part.
20.
What's the most outrageous thing you've ever read about yourself?
The most outrageous? I can't say that there was ever a rumor that I found outrageous. Perhaps I've just
been in this business too long for the rumor to stick permanently in my mind.
21.
Does any piece of criticism stick in your mind?
Nope...can't say that any has.
22.
Which Hollywood or European film star's image would you like to be associated with?
Either Barbra Streisand or Jodie Foster. They each follow the beat of their own drums, and select projects
that they feel strongly about, as either directors, producers or stars. I highly respect that they don't follow
the fold.
23.
What do you do with your money earned from showbiz?
It's gone toward the purchase of a home and tuition fees. Most of it is saved or
invested. |

(Censors Chief) Armida Siguion-Reyna.

Very unromantic thoughts, to be honest. Angels, cue lines,
which side of the stage to exit, costume changes, my next
cue...it doesn't get personal. |

"Hindi ako katulad mong napaka-perfect!" from Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal.
27.
If you weren't a world-class performer, what would you rather be doing?
Besides sleeping??? Seriously, I probably would have finished med school by now and would have been an
intern in a hospital. Then again, I don't know...there isn't anything I'd rather be doing than performing.
28.
If you were to go tomorrow, what would you like your friends and colleagues to say about you?
As someone who tried to do her best in everything she did, on and off stage.
