Black Moon - Manga Continued
Sailor Moon and the senshi traveled back to the Earth of the past to regroup. But they only stayed a short while. They felt a huge disturbance in time, and they quickly teleported back to the Time Gates. Pluto informed them that the Black Moon had attacked again, and there was a second Black Poison crystal embedded in Crystal Tokyo. They quickly traveled there, only to find evil Chibi-usa with the Silver Crystal of the future. She attacked Sailor Moon trying to grab her brooch, which contained the past Silver Crystal.
Sailor Moon realized this being was Chibi-usa and asked her why she was attacking them. Chibi-usa introduced herself as Black Lady, the Queen of Darkness, chosen by Wiseman to be reborn as the Queen of Nemesis. The scouts still doubted, but Luna P honed in on Black Lady and greeted her. Suddenly, the brainwashed Dimando and Safiel appeared and joined the attack. Just when it looked like things couldn't get any worse, Black Lady called Endymion to her side and he joined the attack. Sailor Moon gave Black Lady one of her speeches about true love and that it shouldn't be taken by force. Black Lady just became furious and planted yet another Black Poison crystal in Crystal Tokyo's ground.
Wiseman ordered more crystals to be fired into the ground. Dimando protested - "If you do that, this planet will be destroyed!" Wiseman sneered. "I have no use for this planet any longer." Dimando looked straight at Wiseman, his eyes no longer seemed to be dulled by brainwashing. "And then you will have no use for us too?" Dimando went on to explain that the hypnotic eye Wiseman had given him had repelled the brainwashing.
"As you can see, I'm myself! Rubeus and Esmeraude were with us for many years. For their sake, I won't throw away my life!"
Safiel turned to fight Dimando. He was still under the influence of Wiseman's brainwashing. Dimando, who loved his younger brother very much, tried to talk Safiel out of fighting - but in vain. He knew that if they fought, he would win. Painfully, Dimando shot a blast from his hypnotic eye that destroyed his only brother.
"Forgive me, Safiel..."
"DIE!! WISEMAN!"
Amazingly, the blast that hit Wiseman threw off his cloak to reveal only a skeleton. Everyone recoiled in confusion, except Black Lady. She only laughed. "Come to me, Wiseman!" Power shot from the planet, and it soon became clear that Wiseman was the soul of the planet itself. A voice came from the heavens - Wiseman's! He explained that body was only the shell of his true form - Nemesis.
Sailor Moon knelt on the ground and began to release her power. Light shone everywhere, but it was nearly nothing compared to the darkness of Nemesis. But her power soon failed, and evil Tuxedo Kamen grabbed her brooch - and the Silver Crystal of the past. But he stood for a second, hesitating. Holding both Sailor Moon's scepter and her brooch, his memory was recovered. His eyes cleared, and he had returned to his former self. Black Lady snatched the brooch from him. She now had both crystals, future and past. Wiseman's victory seemed sure.
But the White Prince Dimando was not finished yet. Desperate and angry, he tore the Silver Crystals from Black Lady's hands. He laughed manically. You see, if the two Silver Crystals should ever meet, everything on Earth would be destroyed. As a last chance, Dimando was willing to throw his life away as long as he could take everyone else with him. The two crystals came closer and closer together...an inch...a millimeter...
TIME STOP!!! Sailor Pluto, the guardian of time, had come to the rescue! Her powers enabled her to stop time. But there were laws to being the solitary guardian of time. The third, and most important, was never to stop time. She told Sailor Moon to quickly take the crystals from Dimando's hands. Then she collapsed. The penalty for breaking the a taboo of time was death. As she lie dying, she related to them her deep feelings. She hinted at a deep love for King Endymion, and a love for Chibi-usa as his daughter.
Black Lady watched on silently.
"Holding you close and giving you kisses aren't the only symbols of love, Small Lady. Quietly watching over someone from afar is a kind of love too."
Black Lady's eyes filled with tears. She looked at herself, not knowing what she was feeling. But suddenly, something broke through. Black Lady sobbed. "My most important friend...Pluto...PLUTO!!!" Her crystal earrings broke and she transformed back into a young girl.
But the effects of stopping time had worn off. Dimando awoke.
A bright light shone, and when it had cleared, Chibi-usa had transformed into a sailor senshi! She ran over to Pluto. "Pluto, open your eyes!"
The sight of her daughter, transformed, kneeling over a dead senshi was all that Sailor Moon needed to see. She transformed and told Wiseman she was going to punish him. Wiseman, of course, found this quite funny. But she was determined!
Dimando was aghast to be left out of things again. He ran over to Sailor Moon to kill her, but her and Tuxedo Kamen used the Moon Scepter to kill him as they might squash an annoying bug [poor Dimando-sama..*sobs* No justice!].
Wiseman took this opportunity to mock the senshi. He revealed himself as the Death Phantom, ready to destroy Earth. She, Tuxedo Kamen, and Chibi-usa summoned their powers. With the help of Neo-Queen Serenity, Nemesis was blasted away to nothing.
Thus ends the story of the Black Moon. Crystal Tokyo begins to heal itself, the senshi are given new powers, and Chibi-usa returns home. Another win for the senshi, but this one not so sweet. Knowing that the Black Moon was pure inside made this a bitter victory.
