This section will feature a sort of Japanese food of month. In case you were wondering, "itadakimasu" is a Japanese expression said before eating, literally meaning "I will recieve." It's a bit similar to saying Grace before eating, if that clears things up any.

Pocky!

Pocky is a rather popular Japanese snack, basically it's a long biscuit stick covered with cream. Pocky comes in a variety of flavors from Strawberry to Mocha and even Almond. I recently saw a "Men's" flavored one. I'm not sure how it tastes but it just looked like dark chocolate if you ask me.

You can pretty much get Pocky at any Asian grocery store. I've even seen them being sold at places like Sun Coast, probably because of the rising popularity of manga and anime (though the prices are a bit steeper there.) So, if you've never tried it, go buy a box now and chow down!
