� It is the evening of May 27th 2002
�� Single people usually have a lot of free time on their hands, as it was with them. Christine� is from Crowley La. And Bill is from Lafayette La. On this night Christine finds some extra time to surf the net and sees Bills profile on yahoo. She say's she liked his "wonderful" smile. So she decides to send him a message via Yahoo Messenger. Bill is busy on the Yahoo Pool tables and receives a message from a total stranger. So what does Bill do, but instantly checks out her profile before replying? Liking what he sees and reads, he decides to reply.
�� So they chatted for a while, and asked each other the usual questions, and told each other a little about themselves, as most people do when they meet this way. But being careful not to share too much info and also not asking questions that were too personal.
�� They chatted on Yahoo for several nights like this as they played pool with each other. When Bill thought the time was right, he asked her if she would like to meet somewhere for lunch. To his delight, she agreed, and Chilies'  was the first place they met. Bill was very attracted to Christine and listened to her every word with great attention as she ate her Baby Back Ribs.
� When they left the restaurant, he asked her if she would like to meet again, and  she said sure. Bill found out later, that being a 911 operator, she did a background check on him. I suppose if he had that resource, he would have done the same. His record was clean by the way.
�� They met again about a week later, and bearing a single red rose, picked her up for a day of canoeing on a bayou in back of Bill's parents house. On this day, she met his mother, who checked her out intently, but politely. It rained a little that day, but did not dampen their spirits as they laughed and talked and learned more about each other. After an afternoon of paddling and talking, they loaded up the Canoe and stood there by his truck talking, he leaned forward and kissed her ever so lightly. For this I believe is the moment he lost his heart to her. She gave him a reassuring wink, and talked a little longer, then returned to his mother's house to conclude a wonderful day. If Christine had to pick a day that she fell in Love with Bill, it would be this day.
� Things seemed to move real fast for them from then on. They talked daily and saw each other as often as possible. They took a small vacation in Pensacola Fl. And spent time on the beach and snorkeling, eating at nice places, and falling more and more in Love each day.
� On evening of Sat. Nov. 9th 2002, by a cozy campfire, Bill asked Christine to marry him, and she said yes. Soon after on Sat. Nov. 23rd of that same year they became Husband and Wife. It was a small wedding at her mother's house with both families present.
� They settled down in Bill's house he is renting from his parents and have started a happy life together. They both find it hard to believe that they have not always been a part of each other's world. But the timing for them could not have been better. Perhaps all the trials of the past were meant to prepare them for this chance meeting. I guess it depends if you believe in fate or not. But nonetheless, their life together is happy, and it's a rare thing when two people so much alike end up together.
� Some believe that people fall in Love every day. I believe that's the exception rather than the rule. But in this case, it happened for both of them.
